amiko- we were swapping string blocks in each participants color choices. Most of the guidelines are on page one of this thread. This swap is wrapping up, so its too late to join in, but keep an eye on the boards for sign up's for the next one.
NICUnurse & iquiltalot your lovelies arrived today!
fishingwidow your postage is here! Thanks! This message has been edited. Last edited by: crazy'boutquilts,
Woo Hoo!! I finished the table topper out of leftover strings from a previous swap and plan on finishing the table runner by tomorrow night so those will be done!! I decided to use some very simple quilting and not get stressed out. I LOVE the built-in walking foot in my machine. Of course, I had to break out the manual to figure out how to use it since it had been so long
These new beauties should get here just about the time I'm ready to start something new

You know that went so well I may actually attempt quilting DS quit myself instead of sending it out (says the woman with a frame with a machine still unused in her sewing area ) One of these days I may actually get comfortable with that but it is not today.
Wonder what the "leftovers" from this latest swap will become?
I posted both pictures of the leftover projects from a previous string swap but will repost just the table mat here - the runner makes the blocks look like ornaments.

I was going to wait to post my photo, but then thought I'd just go ahead and do it. The blocks aren't mixed up~ I just laid them out as they were in my stack. I am going to love this one! Now I need to decide how I want to put it together. Thanks ladies!!
OMG - they are beautiful. I can't wait to start putting them together. I'll try and lay them out on Friday when I'm home in the afternoon. Thank you to all - I am one happy lady.

I got some unsettling family news today and was feeling a little gloomy when I saw the mailman walk across the porch and open the door (puts packages between the doors). Thanks so much ladies, the strips are gorgeous!! If my smartphone cooperates, I'll post a picture, also just thrown out to admire them! They certainly brightened my day.
