Maggie, If I get a top put together from the scappy blocks I will go ahead and send it so the troops can have it sooner. They come first not the challange. LOL I put all the purple blocks together for Jims quilt and it is going to be 4 foot by 8 foot. He says good cause his feet are always cold. I offered to make a pocket at the end he can slip his feet into but he said he'd probably miss the pocket half the time and his feet wouldn't get warm. I even offered to put extra batting in the foot end of it for him. With his COPD he has lost so much weight he is only 112 lbs and gets cold if it isn't 80° so winter should be fun with me being hot all the time. Might have to drag out the electric blanket for him or warm some bricks like in the old days, oh wait thats still during my time and I am not old yet hehehe. I'll try to slip you some money for postage too. Hugs, Patty FLThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Lumpy Tush,

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would be great to have more quilt groups join. Also friends working together as several already do. Really looking good for the troops. Thanks ladies. Maggie
Maggie, I posted on the Yahoo site that if you need help putting the blocks together I could do it this year. I will also make a complete quilt or two.
Dear Maggie, I hope your health is getting better....DH & I are still out here pedal to the metal! We seem to have so many locals deployed we send finished ones direct. But it was you who inspired us. We did some tops for you, then kept on going...we usually do 24 12.5" blocks of Army Star pattern, adding sashes and cornerstones, all in red, white, or tan, and blue. Keep up the good work! Joyce

KC1930 I don't know why but I can not PM you or anyone. But I can answer any PMs. So if you would PM me then I can answer you back. Joyus this is great to hear you and hubby are still working away. I know of several groups that have started up since our group from here. It is always wonderful to hear they are still motivated to keep those quilts going. We have had several of our quilts go to some from your state also. Keep up the good works. My health keeps improving and I am so grateful for that. We just found out today my husband has cancer now. So we will be dealing with that. But we have been so blessed we are sure things will work out. Thanks for asking. Love and hugs, Maggie

MedeMo, I have problems with that too. Here's what I do: click on the person's name that you want to send a PM to; choose view profile; in the profile box there is an option to send a PM. It's a long way around but works for me.
