At the moment I'm just dithering - trying to decide what to do next. But I did finish this little quilt for AAQI.

I was able to get a lot of organizing done this week. I had no choice, was trying to locate all my B&W's for the next project. I have a tendency to pile fabrics up during a project and sometimes they don't always get back to their original locations. Anyway, I had B&W's here, there and EVERYWHERE. I think I have located them all and now I can get them sorted for the next project which will use quite a few of them.

Do you know how difficult it is to put them in value order? I'm still working on it.

Been busy working on a set of eight place mats for DD#2 for Christmas-(they are on the cover of Dec. Quilter's World and I used blue/green/violet fabrics) - was lucky enough to find pre-made napkins to coordinate w/all the lovely batiks I used. She will love them. Have the machine stitching all done, just need to turn and trim the batting, then close the opening and quilt - still plenty to do, but I'll get them done. Fortunately I made the quilt for DD#1 earlier this year so no pressure there.

Hope everyone is having fun working on holiday projects.

Bozie - every time you post one of your minis, I think that the newest one is my favorite. This time, I am sure this one is! Just love it!

I posted this Lady of the Lake quilt on a topic requesting opinions on how to quilt it. I got great advice and today, my son and his girlfriend are coming to visit from California and I will be able to give it to them. Thanks to all who offered advice and encouragement!

I love all the projects.. The quilting on Lady of the Lake is great, and Bozie as always excels. Would love to have the sawtooth cats but doubt I've the patience anymore. Did finish something else.. CC block was finished a couple of years ago when I could still bead, but did add my friend and her husband to be's names and the date of their wedding and put a backing and hanging sleeve on it.

Bozie, are those 1.5" blocks set on the diagonal? I love how it gives almost a DWR look! Awesome as usual

Quiltcat, love those Sawtooth Cats...is the border sawtoothed also? Looks like it took forever!

NYLady, your friend & DHTB will love the wallhanging. There's definitely a lot of work in that. I don't have the patience for CQing...I always want to quit long before there's "enough" embellishment!

This is a Scrappy Santa project that I started a long-long time ago. I started to share it a couple of weeks ago, but decided to make a change to it first. A long-long time ago I borrowed a Debbie Mumm book from the library (Quick Country Christmas) and fell in love with this Santa applique. The beginning of the project was the Santa on a fleece remnant with a bit of embroidery... a neighbor gave me the striped Christmas fabric and that's where the project stopped... put in a box, hidden away... forgotten.
At the beginning of the year, I found it and (felt sorry for it) decided it needed to worked on. This summer I found a dark blue fabric that was a match to the dark blue in the striped fabric... that became the border. I ended up appliqueing the dark blue fabric over the inner-side pieces. The extras are buttons sewn on all around the border and lace around the edge...
Kinda looks like a Vintage Christmas mini. To me... it looks DONE!

The small gold squares are 1/4" on each side and the gold triangles 1/4" high x 1/2" wide.

Angela - right you are! They are 1.5" blocks set on point with partial blocks as the setting triangles to complete the design.

Thank you, Patty! Now, to work on the Festive Trees wall-hanging (in progress)... if you remember Nickilee's winter trees mini from a couple of years ago, I was in awe and bought a magazine that had a similar pattern!

I finished the HGTV BOM blocks. Now to get them sewn together. I also have been working on my new LA learning how to use it. right now I can only do FM on it, the robotics is down waiting for the service tech to come back out to finish getting it installed.

NYLAdy......I know someone that is going to LOVE that. It is gorgeous. Don't tell anyone but there is a package on it's way as we speak to those two.

I do have to say I adore the funky chickens. Now I wish I had copied all the patterns and tried my hand at it even tho applique is really not my best thing.

WOW!!!! The projects are all adorable. Bozie, I could not do what you do in a million years. Pieces are way to small for me. Bigger is always better for me. Well done ladies. I have been trying to get caught up on my BOM blocks. Since I am doing 5 sets for Christmas next year I got behind having to come up with a baby quilt. I have some more done but am going to take a pic with them all in one so I don't take up all the posts with 1 block each. I didn't like set 5 so quit at 2 blocks and just decided what browns I want to use. There will be some orphan blocks for Maggie to find a home for.

Neat projects this week again.

These are two throws I made for gifts to the Christmas tree at c*h*u*r*c*h. They are much prettier than they are in the picture, a soft purple with gold threads... Chris

Wow, as usual, this thread has great projects! Bozie, you are a master mini maker.
Love the crazy quiting, the placemats, the quilting and those little 3-D things..we made over 500 of them for a give away at our quilt show in October. We called them thread catcher!
I just turned this in to the women curating a show called Nature Behind Bars. I had a blast making it.

Irish, you did a great job. Looks like bar shadows on the cow. Very neat.

Wow - another week of great projects! Here is a quilt I finished today. I'm calling it "Find a Match" because it used 49 pairs of charm squares. Another one of my many UFOs! I'm mailing it to my cousin's 2.5 year boy on Monday.

And a table topper also started in 2009. The pattern is "Evening Star" by This & That and I used 2 charm packs of Tamarack Grove by Moda.

I took one towel, cut it into rectangles and made 28 pouches for soap. These pouches can be used in the shower, lingerie drawer, musty suitcase, or under my bed sheet. I have lots of leg cramps at night. I read that a bar of Dove or Ivory soap placed under the fitted sheet (calf level) helps with leg cramps. Doctors don't know why it helps but it does. I've already tried bananas, quinine, coconut water, and major hydration. Spent lots of time running to the loo. LOL These pouches will be love gifts for friends.

Made this apron for my sister-in-law for Christmas. She had sent me probably 12 yards of the flamingo fabric to make cushions for my wicker chairs. I still have a couple of yards left.

I love seeing what everyone has been doing, great projects. I saw the directions somewhere, I think on this board, for making those soap pouches, could have been on Pinterest. Anyway, I still want to make some for DH.

I did discover there's a huge variety of sizes of soap. I'd suggest you buy that first and do a trial. I love the smell of the Dove that I bought. My sewing room smells so clean!

Saw a table cloth similar for almost $50. Since I had flannel already it took less than an hour to make. I'd like to made one that's washable if I can find a red oval tablecloth on sale after the holidays. Then I could leave in my leaf.

Love it! I have a red tablecloth & I think the kiddos would be tickled to be seated @ this table.
