I just logged in and all of my posts show "unread". ???? The header at top of page is different too. Has this happened to anyone else?

MY page is completely off kilter... I dont even have a header and I have to scroll all the way down to find the posts...My page is all white with light blue text in the middle of the page...

Sounds like they have problems this morning... I am sure it will be back to normal soon...

Just a gliche on their end...

WOW now I can REALLY see the avatars. Kim, what a nice picture...THat's the ONLY advantage, I'd say.

Mine is all messed up, too. I guess it's OK since I need to get off the board and get to work. Kids are coming in from FL today and I'm not ready!

I jump on and off this board during the day. the mess it is in today makes me tired. Hope it is fixed soon

Well it looks like somebody had to much time on their hands. I had to re-join or whatever. I really hate having to do things that seem confusing this early in the morning.

Everything is completely different and I had to log in several times to actually get to the message boards. And it has an entirely different look.

Mine is kind of back to normal...

I didn't try to rejoin, but it wouldn't let me on earlier.

Avatars are very large on my computer.

Same here, first had to scroll down but could not get in, now it works, header is a different color and everyone's avator is a giant picture.

Emoticons on full posting form aren't working. I can type in the code and get it - maybe.

And! Some of the avatars are HUGE!!!

Yep, a real big mess. Couldn't get on earlier, but now even my bookmark works and gets me right to the quilting and needlework bd. Some things are larger. Maybe if they do this again they could worn us ahead of time. Ya think?

Love being able to see details on avatars. I tend to ignore them because they're so tiny on my iPod.

Check out the size of EvelynBs picture, We would never be able to post one that size before. I had trouble getting on the board this morning too. Even my favorite button didn't work. .

I thought it was was my computer...thats as bad as having my machine on the fritz....Jeez...I have been trying to reset the page,the fonts everything until I clicked on this Thread..sure hope they get it fixed....

Mine is acting weird also. I see words on top of words & lines in places they should not be. If I check out the tread "It's for the Birds Mug Rug Swap", there is a post smack dab in the middle from emb115724 that has nothing to do with the mug rug thread. And look how humungus my avitar is. The little graemilins aren't working either.

It appears only certain Avatars are causing the humongus errors...as on some other threads none are out of alignment.....the Emoticons are not working either...Hummm

maybe the eclipse messed up magnetic fields....

No problem for me signing on, but most of the avatars and some photos are HUGE!. Maybe someone from HGTV IT went on vacation this week?

It looks like the avatars that come from the HGTV board, the ones they show you when you first sign up, are still okay. And so are the ones from the HGTV-related site: http://e-design-it.com/avatars.

But the avatars that are made from people's other links or photos are the ones that are blown up.

Hey, the emoticons don't work and neither does the URL thing on the reply form. You have to type in the symbols and the link info.

Ditto everything everyone is saying about the board...worried me and sooo glad to see we are back together again!

WOW glad it is not just my computer the avatars are so big for some of us what is going on please ........I went to the laptop thinking my desk top was buggie??

Just some more craz iness by HGTV. I don't know why I keep coming back. Guess I keep coming back to see what will happen next. I could not get in this morning.

It was my avatar that was enormous. So I went to Personal and changed my settings so I don't see anyone's avatar or signature. Cleaned up a lot of the mess. I sure didn't like seeing my pink heart on half the screen!

But your Avatar is still HUGE....it still covers have the board.

ETA: I changed mine to Hide all Avatars also until this problem is fixed....MUCH better...Thanks Evelyn for the reminder

It was all goofy for me this morning but looks better tonight. What will tomorrow bring????

yikes!! With dial-up and the huge avatars I'll be able to read 2 threads a day! haha Hope it gets fixed soon.

LOL HGTV has several scripting issues!!

The thing bothering me the most tho, is, reading a post and then it not changing the blue color to show it is read! I depend on that, never can remember what I have read until I open it again, and sure is slow going.

Couldn't sign on yeaterday. HGTV didn't recognize my email. Thought I was gonna have to rejoin. What a pain. Today computer wouldn't even let me get to my msn homepage. Turned off computer & rebooted. Now, everything works!!!!!! I was nearly having withdrawal symptoms. Glad to see everyone.
