Quiltingnewbie and I have been talking and have decided that we are going to take a trip up north for the 20th Anniversary of A Quilter's Gathering. It is a huge Quilt Show being held at the Radisson Hotel in Nashua NH on Nov 6-9th. We are planning on going up and spending the day on Friday/7th so as to avoid the crowds on Sat & Sun.

A Quilter's Gathering

We would love to meet up with anyone who'd like to have a fun day with us... check out the quilts, the vendors and even have some lunch. Any interest in getting together?

Well, I'd love to, but can't take friday off work due to a vacation week I already have off that month. Shucks! I'd meet you all if it was Saturday. Have fun!

I went to this show a couple years ago and it was great. I took some classes and stayed at the hotel. I would love to go this year, but unfortunatly I have some prior committments.

Whoever goes, have a wonderful time and tell us all about it.Big Grin

Well it looks like right now I'll be meeting up with Quiltingnewbie at the Briantree split and then driving up to Nashua sometime after rush hour traffic on Friday morning (Nov 7) Mrs. C might be meeting us at the Quilt Show - Charming do you want to meet me and Elaine in Braintree? I'm going to see if I can get Ely to play hookie from work and maybe pick her up at South Station on our way up. Anyone else interested in a Day of fun oohing and ahhing at some beautiful quilts and visiting lots of vendors? Big Grin

Nickilee, I'll probably just drive up myself. I think that would work better. And I might take time to visit with family in NH after. So we can exchange cell #s again and try to set up a place and time to try to meet.

Yes, poor Muggo, I can see that you are getting a little feverish, maybe a slight sore throat, and an unexplained anxiety attack, that can only all be cured by a visit to a quilt show.

My sis has a timeshare in Loon Mtn that week. I can have the place any day through Sat. I just calculated the distance-if the Radisson is the conference center one then it is 1 hr. and 40 mins. south. Initially (this a.m.) we talked about going Thurs-Sat. Pure speculation til I get more details. I know Sat. will be hectic but that might have worked well as we would be coming down south again. I'll see what specifics I can find out.
