Oh such great books at great prices! Thank you to our CT enabler who brought this sale to our attention!!!!

One of my favorite things about these books is that they are all the same size and fit so beautifullin my shelves, making them look automatically tidy!!!

That is fast, Nancy! The website said four to six weeks, I'm sure after the huge response that they had last year.

Even though I ordered last year, I didn't receive and e-mail about this years' sale. Not sure why that is . . .

Will be looking forward to my big shipment .

I missed out on this sale too! Probably for the better though! Glad you got yours though! So, how soon will we see all the new quilts that you will be making?!!

Have to ask - what is CT?

C&T Publishing ( www.ctpub.com )last year had an unbelievable sale on their books...famous quilting author's books for prices like $3 and $5 each. I think I got 8 books last year for about $24! It was such a success for them (and us happy recipients) that they did it again this year. I got 3 Barbara Brackman books for $3/each this year...

Some wonderful enabler on this board alerted us again...thank you so much!!!

I was hoping I would get mine but they did not come. Maybe tomorrow as I got am email last week saying they had shipped.

I had a look and they have great books but the shipping costs to Europe are insane ($ 12.00 for first item and $ 3.00 for each additional item) so I didn't order.

I'm away from home right now, but can't wait to get the books I ordered. Thanks for the heads up Gives me something else to look forward to upon my return. At $2 and $3, they were cheaper than a magazine! And since I'm in charge of door prizes for our guild, I'll donate a few as prizes.

C&T didn't email me either, but because I subscribe to The Quilt Show I got a newsletter from them about the sale. They didn't give any advance warning though. As soon as I saw it I posted on this board. I'm sorry everyone didn't see it, but I'm glad that those of you who did are enjoying your books. I am too. If I remember correctly they have this sale in the fall and spring and it only lasts for one weekend. Unfortunately I didn't check my email until late that Saturday afternoon. It is really amazing that they can offer the books at such discounts, but I'm glad that they do! If and when I hear about another sale I'll post and let everyone know about it.

I just killed morning. My books arrived and I stopped everything to open the box and it was like that December morning. I looked at all of them then sat back and browsed. I can't believe I got some of these for only $2. or $3.

I got "Making History, Quilts & Fabric from 1890-1970" by Barbara Brackman ($29.95),"Encyclopedia of Applique" by Barbara Brackman ($29.95), "Facts & Fabrications, Unraveling the History of Quilts & Slavery" by Barbara Brackman ($27.95), and The ABC's of Word On Quilts" by Elizabeth Scott ($24.95) for a total of $13.00 + $7.14 tax and shipping for $20.14 !!!!!!!!!

Please send out an enabler alert the next time they have a sale. Sounds like you all did good.

I still haven't received my books. Did they send an email first to state that the order was ready to ship? (In addition to the order confirmation they sent in mid-April.)

Snort. I was 16 minutes too fast when I posted my question. Just got an email stating they shipped.

Didn't get an email, but got the books yesterday. I did good. It's funny how you can still be surprised even when you're the one who ordered.

WOWIE! they must have had a ton of orders for it to be so long. SO worth waitng for , though...

I haven't received mine yet. Looking forward to receiving them.....will be like Christmas!! Thanks to the enabler!!

Mine came a couple of days ago. Whew! I'm now in charge of guild door prizes and will use some of these for the drawings. Glad they're here in time for our June meeting.

Mine still haven't arrived , but they should be here tomorrow . The shipping notice was sent by e-mail while we were out of town.

Can't wait to start looking through my books!
