I found it at walmart, has anyone used it before and in what kinda projects? I thought it would be cute in a halloween quilt or costume.

I have a spool of glow thread, haven't used it yet. Also going to use it for Halloween. I know if I hold the spool under the light, turn off the light, it REALLY glows brightly. I also have a small piece of glow in the dark fabric and have not yet used it.

I have boms to put together that have a lot of glow in the dark fabric in them and they really glow.
I too was wondering if the thread would be good for quilting also?

I bought a large cone last year from allthreads.com and quilted a quilt for a customer. The thread was suppose to glow for about 12 hours. I don't know that it did but it made the quilt look awesome at night. You can see any mistakes that were made in quilting when it's glowing... maybe that's because I knew where they were. The effect is awesome though...

If you didn't know how old you were, would you worry about how old you are?

I've used it in a couple Halloween cross stitch projects and it seems to glow pretty well. Especially if you hold it in front of a light for a minute first.

Yes, me too, Embroidery thread from MillHill. I did a X St.with it by hand, and it does "glow" after its been exposed to light.
But it doesn't last unless re-exposed for a little while. I love it though. I also bought some of the beads people use on hair. Still in the package, after 3 or 4 years, lying under a lamp, and it is SCARY after dark...LOL.
