This is a funny story. A few weeks ago I stopped at Walmart on my way home from work (at midnight). I saw the Brother 9050 and debated getting it. Told myself think about this and if next time you come in it is still here you were meant to have it. Came home and started looking at Facebook and one of my sister's had ask if anyone had try making their own laundry degergent? Then I looked at Pintrest and saw a faux cathedral windows pincushion. pinned it to my board thinking may for the swap. Next I came to this site. Do you know what I saw? First a discussion on making you own degergent, next, the tutourial for the same faux cathedral windows pincushion and then... I think it was Rainbow... had bought a new machine, the Brother 9050! I took this as an omen that I should have this machine, so today I went and got it because it was still there.

Sounds like it was meant to be! I hope you two have a long and happy and productive life together.

My dealer tried to get me to buy the newest Pfaff embroidery machine because my 2170 doesn't do 9" designs. She said that's what I needed, but I haven't seen the "signs" yet...well, only $6,500 dollar signs, lol!

Congratulations!! I don't go into Walmart as a general rule but I did go in to personally check out the Brother machine I was interested in for classes, etc. I was surprised that you could bring it back within a pretty long length of time if you didn't like how it operated without an issue. For such an inexpensive machine I didn't expect that.
Have fun with your new machine!!

I just have to say I LOVE THIS MACHINE! Finally got to play with it yesterday and just love it. It's quiet, doesn't jump all over the place and sews sooo smooth. Didn't realize how bad my 20 year old Singer was till now!

LOL I carried my old generic Morse with me to a quilting retreat one time. ONE TIME! It sounded like a pea thrasher. Someone (I think Lisa-TX) walked into the room and looked funny...she thought all the machines were running. I was in there all alone.
