Love all the projects this week, they sure provide lots of inspiration and motivation. Evelyn, your elephant quilt turned out perfect, what a great gift with the sleeper and a book. I hadn't thought about a book, but think I will add that to my baby gift also.

Thank you, Kentucky. Love your quilt and book. The book's nice for older siblings to enjoy too. Time for a book store run. My shelf only has Seuss books now but not Horton Hears a Who.i like your choice better.

Jeepdarla, your tissue holders are very pretty. I wanted to make some of these before Chris tmas but couldn't find my directions. I still want to make a few for gifts, but still can't find my directions. Could you share your directions for making these. TIA

Bunnybcb - I can't find the original site where I got the pattern. I've been using some notes and measurements I wrote down on a piece of paper.

This tutorial http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art176293.asp

is almost exactly the way I do mine ...but maybe better - because she doesn't leave any raw seam edges in hers...and mine has them inside.

I might try this pattern myself to see if I like it better.

Show pics when yours are finished!

Thank you so much jeepdarla. This looks a lot like the one I made several years ago. I altered mine by manipulating it so the opening was not in the middle but closer to the top to accommodate the tissues that don't open in the middle. I remember that I also stitched across the corners to make it more box-like to hold the package better. Can't wait to make this one.
