i have a lot of christmas "scraps". they range from 2 in strips to 1/4 yard. any suggestions which quilt pattern or block pattern would look good using these "scraps"? tia

the east answer would be do a string quilt..

there is also this pattern,

"sweet and simple"
using the strips, and a muslin in the centers..

She has all kinds of free patterns. The one that comes to mind is called 'crumb quilts'

Oh Kim, that sweet and simple one is sooo cute! I have some strings collected but not enough to do a whole quilt. I used to throw all mine out until recently when I saw what all of the string quilters were doing with them! So maybe now I might have just enough saved to do something like the quilt you posted. Thanks for the inspiration!

Sew the small strips together till you have a large enough piece made, then take your favorite size square ruler & lay on top of the pieced fabric & rotary cut around to have a nice pieced square. Save them up & sew together for a nice scrappy quilt.
