MINERVA SEWING MACHINE - anyone know anything about it?

My DD just sent me a pic by phone of an old machine her BF has in the basement - it's a MINERVA, curvy letter M, metal belt of some kind on the bottom, and she is curious ..well heck, so am I!
I googled it, but nothing looks like this one actually - did see lots of people named Minerva though!

Here are some images of different Minerva machines. Maybe if she could find a model number on it somewhere we could get more info for her.
