Painters tape might keep the sticky away plus work better on my light mat.
I boughts lots of square rulers and like to use them. Never seen a 7 1/2" square ruler though. LOL

My square ruler always seems to slip a bit no matter how hard I press down on it. I'm anxious to try this simple tip. Thanks.
