KC1930 and I are looking to arrange a get-together of Board members from Maine. The Ohio gals are such an inspiration! Any takers??This message has been edited. Last edited by: muggomuggo,
my philosophy: there are no real mistakes in quilting, just design opportunities!!
Sounds like so much fun! I wish I were a "Mainer" so I could join you but being a "Minner" I'm kinda far away. I hope a bunch of gals will join you. Good luck with the planning.
I have the same problem Chanlady! I am in NYC and there aren't too many around here within a short driving distance either. I'm happy to have a few people over anytime Sun-Thurs - after I move in Nov/Dec tho

It would be nice to do it before the snow flies (which could be anytime here in Maine! )
I like the idea of having a quilting item wrapped in fabric for kinda a "Yankee Swap", along with a show-and-tell.
Perhaps if we could get enough ladies together we could find a restaraunt with a room so we could all sit together, maybe in the Portland area?
In that way, you can stop into Marden's in Scarboro (only a few miles from the Maine Mall area) to shop for fabric! This message has been edited. Last edited by: KC1930,
Sounds good to me. I'll have to check the calender, but for sure before the snow. I go to the Mardens in Brewer, but I'm always up for checking out the others. Lens, if you wanted to come, you could stay with me on the way to Portland.

Hey Judy, just checking to see if you are able to come (with Lens, of course!)
