Now that I am ready to quilt I know what I want to do with the fabric and there is not enough. I know if you like something buy a little extra. I can make a smaller quilt if need be. Even a 6" piece would give me a few more blocks.
I can't remember where I purchased it and have gone back to all the shops. But it has been most likely last spring or the spring before when I was making a blue quilt.

it is a Vip Cranston floral

I don't have it, but every time I see a VIP print, I think of Wal-Mart. Could you by chance have bought it there? My WM has a lot of VIP prints, more than anywhere else in my area. They also tend to hold onto their inventory longer than any other store around here, and I can often find older VIP's there.

It sure is pretty...hope you can find it. Is there a print number on it you could Google?

No there is no print number or designer name.

It could have been Walmart but I went to all of them in town and out of town recently looking.

I keep thinking I had seen it at Joann's and can visualize seeing it on the shelf. I asked a sales clerk earlier this week that has been there for awhile and she did not recognize it.

Walmart does not have a clerk that is in the dept. Its what ever dept has time to come cut fabric.

Thanks for answering.

There should be a notebook at JoAnn's that shows a lot of the fabrics they carry. You can ask at the cutting counter. I think they use the notebook for special orders? But the picture of that fabric might be in there, if you thought you saw it @ JA's.

I ran "daisy" through Quiltshops.com and came up with 34 pages of hits, but I didn't see that particular fabric on any of them. Frown

I don't have any of it but see some here on ebay. I see it is a "private listing". Does anyone know what that means???

I might have some of that in my stash as well. Looks awfully familiar. I'll check later. Back is acting up and I can't bend down to check those shelves at this moment.
PM me if SavedSinnr doesn't have enough for you.

I managed to check the floral pile. I'm sorry, but mine looks like its from the same series, but its a bit different and a smaller print.

I was sure I had both prints so I'll check further for the print you posted. Unless I already used it in a floral quilt. Its something I bought years ago, both fabrics. so I might have used it already. If I come across some of it, I'll let you know.

I can see how that might work. Someone has an eBay seller they like to deal with and is looking for a particular item (fabric in this case). They don't find it listed for sale anywhere so send a note to the eBayer. The seller has it but doesn't have a brick and mortar store so can't legally can't just sell it to the prospective buyer without listing it on eBay.

Is that the idea?

When I was sorting my 10" floral swap squares today, I noticed the same fabric. It's all cut, but I think it did come from WalMart.

I need to stop in tomorrow, so if you want me to see if they have it, let me know how much you need if SS doesn't have enough.

I found a small piece, 17" x 15" with a little tail. If that is all you need, I can get it mailed out to you tomorrow. Just PM me your mailing address.

I am trying to send a private Message to SavedSinnr but it does not seem to work or I don't understand.

My plan is to check with her first to see if she has 1/4 to 1/2 yard of the fabric.

But KC just in case i do not get through to her tonight I will wait to see what you come up with at Walmart before committing to anyone else.

KC if you do find it tomorrow at Walmart 1/2 yard of it would be perfect. This will give me a bit left over. We can work out the payment.

Thanks Lora

Kc, thank you for checking for me at Walmart this AM. I have sent an e-mail to SavedSinnr regarding the fabric.

I really appreciate everyone's help here.

I have changed my fabric buying habits this year. Now when I find something I really like and don't have a project in mind I buy a little extra.

In fact in Sept., I was looking for a fabric for a quilt that I am working on today> I found that I really loved to use with my fabric and bought all they had on the bolt!
When I got home I discovered it will go perfect with another fabric that I have had for a long time and hadn't gotten around to using it yet!

Thanks this is very sweet of you. to hang on to it.

Currently I am working on another quilt that I need to finish before starting this one.

I had gotten the fabric out to start the one with the daisy fabric when I discovered I did not have enough.

I put it aside and started on a different one called Victorian Melody and then got to thinking maybe, just maybe someone might have it in their stash.

I kept searching on the internet from time to time and at the stores. I am happy that I came here to search.

Nothing like being a penny short and a day late, but I do have 1/2 yard of that fabric and it is yours if you want it.

Just post on here 'yes' and I will back to you.
