I wanted The Big Book of Tiny Ribbon Embroidery Designs, looked it up on Amazon and they wanted over 60.00 for it. Now I didn`t want it that bad, but thought I would check out Barnes and Noble online. When you put a book search online, they actually check out tons of smaller book stores all over the country. I found the book in a small store in Florida, but you buy it from Barnes and Noble so you are protected by them. Just thought I would let you know about this.

I bought an out of print used book from Amazon last month. Very inexpensive and fast. It looks and feels like no one has opened it.

Definitely! ALWAYS check various sources before purchasing anything - unless you GOTTA have it right now.

I've used Bookfinder.com before, too. It also searches a ton of book sources. The Strand Book Store (in NYC) is another great place to find older or used books. They have "18 Miles" of books in their store. Not sure how many miles of print that translates to for the website Wink, but you can search by title there, too.
