I love this desk. I had no idea the hutch part would hold so much. The cabinet to the right has my fabrics and some yarns. I just ordered a second cabinet so I can get the yarn out of the first and put more of my fabrics in it. I just have to rearrange things on the other side of the room and I will be ready to...create!!

It looks great! I like cabinets with doors, so any clutter is easily out of view and easily accessible. Not the fabric = clutter, but it can look messy.
Will you sew on the desk/hutch? Looks like your machine is tucked away underneath.

Love that look! You should feel really creative with all of that space in which to dream.

Love that you have a nice big window there Smile It all looks so clean and organized - I agree with the doors - my fabric is kept behind doors in two wardrobes - so much better that way - and it keeps it out of the light Smile

Thank you all for the nice compliments. I do plan to sew on the left side and I keep my embroidery machine in that bottom cabinet on the left. It is easy enought to take it out when I am using it. I use my sewing machine more often. I considered having an embroidery station but the room isn't that big where I could do that and it still look nice. Then when I face the the hutch part and I have a lot of my scrapbooking supplies at easy reach. The keyboard shelf even is handy!! I have a nice wooden silverware holder there and I put pens and sissors in it then on the left of that is my paper cutter.

On the other side of the room will be my old cutting table which is high small table with one drawer that belonged to my sweet Mother In Law. I considered doing something else but I want to keep it. Then I also have my mom's old wooden sewing machine cabinet (with her Kenmore machine still in it) and I use that for my pressing station. I considered getting rid of it too but I want it also. lol So that side of the room won't have "new" things but it will be laid out more functional that it is now. I may paint the table..it is a dark brown now. I have some paint colors that I am looking at.

I waited YEARS to haved a nice craft space so its nice that it finally has arrived.

Once I get that second cabinet due to arrive this week and fill that up then I will tackle that other side of the room.

How attractive. I like to look out the window when I take an eye break from sewing. Where did you get the furniture? The chair looks comfy too, "command central" sewing station!
