There were 8 of us together today. I met 4 new Quilting Friends. Ely, Quiltingnewbie, Charmingsister and Heartmania. What a pleasure meeting you all. And my "old" quilting friends, Mrs-C, Nickilee and Jensuz. Hope your all home safe now. What a pleasure for me today. I hope the rest of you on the board get a chance to spend precious time with some of your "Quilting Friends" from HGTV. Here is a pic I took of Sharon Schamber and her quilt that won at the Houston Show last week. Nickilee is on the left and Ely is on the right. Thank you Ladies for a fun day.

OK, I've made it back home. Had a lovely time. It was great meeting some new folks and seeing those I already had met. I enjoyed this show, there were a lot of vendors and pretty quilts. And parking was tough. Can't imagine what it would have been like on the weekend.

That QUilt Show was one of the nicest I have ever been too - really puts you in your place when you see so many beautiful quilts and the quality of work. Hopefully Quiltingnewbie will come along and most some of the picutres - I think I only took abotu 100 with her camera It was really hard to pick a favorite as there were so many but I have to say that Sharon Schambers's quilt was gorgeous!
Michelle, "A Gathering of Quilts" was a wonderful Quilt Show held at the Radisoon Hotel in Nahsua NH - it's going on all day today and tomorrow and if the attendance is anything like yesterday it is going to be packed! A beautiful show with lots to see and LOTS to buy! Right Ely???
