I bought a bag of fabric for $1 Sign In/Join

I've been to a couple of quilt shows recently. I just love to shop the quild's boutique. I bought a ziplock bag of Christmas fabric for $1. Last night I decided to look inside and see what was in there.

I'm wondering if someone started a project and abandoned it. Or, maybe these are extras from a project.

There are squares, strips, and a couple of bigger pieces of fabric. If you look near the center top of the picture, you'll see some pieced strips. They've been sewn and un sewn.

Any ideas of what you would do with it?

The prints in the top corner look like you could fussy cut and do some of those fabric necklaces someone showed earlier in the week. The rest maybe some ornaments-crazy quilt?

Nice little assortment for a dollar. The last fat quarters I bought recently were 3 and 4.00 each, so if I saw a ziplock bag for a dollar I'd buy it too. Can't wait to see what you make with it. Something really cute I'm thinking.

Great buy! LOVE the boutique at the Quilt shows when the have scrap piles you can go thru and fill a bag. Managed not to buy anything last quilt show from the guild sale. Not even the 10 magazines for a $. Should have bought some to donate to the library book store, but wasn't thinking! Chris

Score!!!
Did you take crazy'boutquilts table topper class at COF? The stripe in the lower right might make a great topper if you have enough.
e-reader cover? Mug rugs?
Got any selvages to identify the fabrics?

Just start slapping the pieces up on your design wall and see what happens!

Tablerunner
Tree skirt
Snap-it bags
Tissue holders
Purse(s)

Add some fabrics if needed for placemats

Thanks for all the ideas. It was fun to pull all of that out and wonder what it originally went to. I'll do something with it, but who knows what or when?!!
