● ● ● There are two requests on the board for your votes. We would really appreciate knowing which ones are your favorites. All the ladies of these two challenges have worked very hard to make these creations. Each challenge has prizes to distribute, but in order to do that, we need your votes ~ PLEASE.

First: Gonesewin has a poll set up for the Project Quilting Challenge. All you have to do is click on your favorite to vote. Very simple. The poll closes on October 30.

Second: The Seventh Annual Scraps to Treasures Challenge is a little bit more involved. So I have simplified it. Now you may send a list of your TOP TEN favorites.

E-mail me at jayardi@wi.rr.com before Saturday at 5pm CST.

Thank you very much for your support and cooperation.

So Jean, not to complicate things but...when I voted for the Scraps to Treasure Challenge, I took lots of time and painstakingly divided my choices into the categories you had set up. If I were to send in my top 10 list, it may not be the same order because I had to divide things up in categories. Should I recast my vote in the top 10 manner instead? Sorry, don't mean to be difficult but I worry that I may not be representing my vote appropriately now.

Thanks...axel

What a pretty palette of colors. I'd be happy to vote, although each quilt-maker deserves a congratulations!

● ● ● Axel, I do apologize for your difficulties. From the feedback this year, I'd say you weren't the only one. I will be modifying the procedure for next year so it won't cause anymore hardships in the future. It is not necessary to resubmit your votes. Smile

Thank you all for sending in your votes. We really do appreciate your help!

I separated mine too but will feel better if you lump the ten because I wasn't sure what was the best place to put them.

Good luck... you have a difficult job. They are all great quilts and I would love to own any one of them.

Our dear sweet Jean, I surely hope I didn't cause any concern with my comments...was just thinking outloud and should have just kept it to myself because your categories were really not any trouble and I know you did this so more people can receive prizes...you sweet, fair girl, you! Truly, the categories weren't that much trouble...I was just wondering if it might change the categories if I sent the vote in a lump sum...not to worry...you are doing a GREAT job! Please accept my humble apology.

The only thing that bothered me about voting is the best design, the best use of color and my favorite were sometimes the same quilt, lol!

Jean, thank you for making it simpler! Go vote, ladies!

Every year, voting has been difficult, but this year it seemed more so. I agree that my top choices would have been for more then one category. Putting my thinking cap on, was able to break them into categories so that more challengers could be recognized.

Jean, don't envy you having to tally the results. Good luck. Thanks for all the hard work and dedication to this quilting challenge.

We're waiting for the results (not so patiently).

Jean - I was so glad you went with the simpler "top ten" votes. I had my list and kept moving things around and was having a terrible time trying to get them categorized to send. I was thrilled to be able to send them all in.
