i have some basby receiving blankets from my grandaughter what can i do with these i thought of making some kind of quilt out of them
I am assuming that they are flannel, and if so, just use a small stitch width so that they hold up well to laundry.
A nice summer quilt would not even require any batting. Just cut them into equal size squares and go for it! With squares, you can also increase the seam allowance size some to help ensure that the flannel will not un-ravel on you.
you can make a summer quilt out of them..just zig zag them together or use ric rak .
i saw someone make a cute vest for a little girl once, out of the receiving blankets..
thank you for the help i just cant see them being throwed away
