Hmmmm, let's see a Bribe??? Chicky really likes the Andy Williams Restaurant in Branson, maybe a gift card to there would work??? LOL
I'm rethinking my chain block, I had a great idea, but now I'm not so sure. Now what is going to be super hard for me is keeping this a secret from Sister Sue. (I know she is going to play). I'm a lousy secret keeper. She also comes to sew with me quite often. Let's see what I can do about this. Pat.

I am working on putting the sashing on the 2012 BOM and backing. Hope to have this done by Dec. 31. Then I will be ready for the 2013 BOM. Count me in. Don't know what chain I will be doing, but I know it will turn out great. Sue

So...are you saying 'no' Frown

LOL!!! I was thinking about something chocolatey!!! But, I'll just hang on to it. Smile

I forget that others are still working on 2012. I'd probably be the same way...want to get one done before you've got another staring you in the face!

How is it that they say it...waiting makes it better?!

Well, I still haven't decided on this one yet. I did write down the fabric estimates in case I find a good deal on something I really like. I don't have that much of anything in my stash so will need to purchase fabric. I really want to work on stuff I already have, so there lies the dilemma.

Keep calm and carry on

DH asked if I wanted to go to Home Depot with him yesterday...ok, sure. Look what I found! I thought this was perfect for this BOM.

WQFC, I really like your HD find. Sue and I bought a scrap booking plastic tote a year or 2 ago and with the handle it is so easy to keep all the fabric blocks and patterns in one spot. Along with my designated background fabric. Now I need to figure out what I'm going to do for this year. One thing I am going to make sure is that there is a definite right and wrong side of my background fabric. I bought one in 2011 and 2012 that was very hard to tell I had to get the light just right to see what side was the right side. By the end of this year I was so frustrated just trying to get it right.

I had an ArtBin that I used to use to bring things back and forth to our Hunting lease. DH broke it. Frown I also bought a smaller version of that too! And, I decided that I wanted kitchen cabinet hardware, so we bought some of that too!

I'm not sure he will invite me to go to Home Depot with him again!

Patty - I bet that was frustrating with that fabric. The one consolation with that is, if it's that hard for you to tell, maybe it wouldn't be that noticeable in the quilt?!!

Sure wish I had a block to put in my new tray...hint, hint! LOL!

Sorry, I'm awful!

Very cool - I decided not to do the 2013 BOM Frown Reality check: Given my less than successful work on the 2012 BOM the odds are good the 2013 one wouldn't get much further. Not much else has changed in other areas - ah well, maybe 2014 Smile
