Going to get started on mine. I have been busy with Garden Club as we just had a flower show the past weekend so now can get some sewing in.

Had a bit of a problem with this months pattern. After cutting out the pieces they were smaller than the layout piece. Printed the pattern again and made sure I had the NONE box checked, but the same thing. So I just eyeballed it and went for it. Found some wood looking material so half my blocks will be with chicken wire and the other half with the wood material.

I can't get over how everyone's blocks have their own personality!

Been working on my blocks for the "Think Christmas" blog hop. Have not joined one before but now that I've got a couple of blocks finished my brain is in overtime. Am chattering to much today so here is the picture.

Woops wanted to say that I also love the feet!!!

Here is mine. Boy these have been so much fun to do. Love seeing everyone's block. My mom was thinking of doing these for my one cousin for a gift as she loves chickens, but now she says might have to be for her as she falling in love with these wacky chickens. Smile Well except for friday when her machine tried to eat it. Guess it was hungry for chicken. lol

Nothing like waiting until the last minute. Have to many irons in the fire. Here is July's.

Also, Quiltslots, Jackie fell and broke two ribs and cracked two more so she won't be getting her chick done in time. Under doctor's orders to do nothing. Please keep her in your P's.

Thanks, Carolyn

Caroly, do tell Jackie we're thinking of her. So sorry to hear she bunged up her body. And of course, rest is the best cure.

(Do they say 'bunged up' in upper PA???LOL)
