is now posted on Sindy's link: www.fatcatpatterns.com

Well, looks like she and Miss September could almost be twins! LOL

Please use this thread to post photos of our October cutie as you get her finished.

AND there's only 2 more Chickies after Miss October until the final prize drawings. Have you all posted photos of ALL your chicks?????

(Rats! I'm out of colored ink - put a new black cartridge in but the printer has gotten fussy - won't even print in just black so I won't be downloading my October pattern until my new ink arrives.)

By the way, I have the first 6 blocks sewn together with the sashing and corner stones. I used it as my "Show and Tell" at the COF retreat in Branson.

Do you have a picture of your blocks sewn together? I would love to see it!
Did you have a good time at the COF? I'm so green with envy! We don't have retreats like that here Frown

That's really cute! Mine is going to be late this month, unfortunately! Hopefully I can get it done before the end of the month, but not sure.

Anael,
If you go to the thread about pic's from the retreat, on page 2 DJbrown has added a photo she took of me and my 6 chicks. My poor little May chickie looks anemic... I used a white fabric for her body and she doesn't stand out from the background like her sisters do.

Lois, I saw your chickens and they are beautiful.
Anael, I'm loving your new chicken in the hen house. Very dramatic. Is she running for Hen House Queen?? I'm smiling just looking at her. TFS Pat

Anael7621 - just read that you "don't have retreats like that here".... hmmm, why don't you think about creating a small one, and see what happens??? Then, you just might be having 'retreats like you wouldn't believe!!' right there at home!!! Wink

Just a thought!! If it can happen here - it can happen there - it just needs someone to "make it so" - or "sew" - it's up to you!!! Big Grin Just an idea and an idle thought as I looked at these crazy chickens!! Love these blks!!! Always bring a smile to my face - they are so much fun!!!!

Great Job on these you guys!!!! Wave

Yay, got to it before the end of the month!

Not sure what the grease/wet spot looking things are on this picture - it's not there in person, strange! Anyway, love these chickens! Going to start putting my blocks together this week!

I'm cutting the border strips. Only lack one and then I can stitch them on all the background squares for the months I've missed and the remainder of the year. I'm trying to be scrappy and not use many of the same strip but I can't remember what I've used on the other ones! Anyway, its progress, and then I'll be on to the actual chickens themselves. Hopefully, I'll have at least one or two done before the end of the month.

Well will have to pull my other machine tomorrow to finish putting sashing on sept block, my main machine might have to go to the doctor. At least I got Oct done before end of month.
Love all the blocks done. Can't wait to see others that are also catching up.
