While this is still in the planning stages, let's choose the next swap's themes!
*Stashbuster prints (like in the previous two swaps)
*TRUE red, white and blue prints
*Small floral prints
*Write in your suggestions!
I have several photos of what we would be looking for in the above themes. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your vote or post here on the board. I will leave the poll up for one week and then post the official sign-up list.
Right now, we would have to sign up by May 3rd and the due to me date is June 8th.
The guidelines would be the same as the previous swap, but always feel free to contact me if you have any questions on fabrics.
I have posted suitable fabrics and comments for the suggested themes on the blog at
I've also gotten lots of votes via the hexagon blog for
*TRUE 30's repros-1
*TRUE red, white and blue-2This message has been edited. Last edited by: KC1930,
Batiks works for me didn't see where to write it in

Kayla, your post here is the perfect place!
I love working with brights but never keep enough in my stash. So one vote for Brights and one vote for red, white, blue fabrics
Your votes are counted!
I voted for brights on the blog, but would also like to write in a vote for batiks. I think those would be interesting.

My second vote is for batiks. Thanks!

I'll be posting the official sign-ups later this week.
Only one more day to vote!
Oh, if we do choose batiks and due to the nature of the fabrics, these would have to be pre-washed. Yes, I know all about color catchers, but even after using several on two quilts I've seen bleeding from darker and bright colors on the lighter shades so pre-washing would be necessary!
The mystery of batiks confuses me so much I gave my only stash of Batik Fat Quarters away in the Traveling Box recently. So I will be one less on that swap.
I would like to use true red, white and blue (many holidays coming up) and brights.
Between the votes here on the poll, on the posts, on the hexagon blog and emails, the two winners for the next swap are:
**SMALL floral prints
Remember, these fabric choices must in the guidelines to the photos posted on the blog. Keep your prints in scale of the 1" hexie.
For the small prints, think small "calico" type floral prints, lots of print with little or no open background.
For the brights, bold isn't bright--think bright colors, such as primary colors, hot pink, lime greens, turquoise, bright purple--again, check the blog for suggestions.
I'll be posting the official sign up this week. This message has been edited. Last edited by: KC1930,
