Sew & Tell is our weekly sharing thread. Tell us what you've finished, what you're working on- we're here to cheer you on!

And today I'll also start our new thread, Crafty/Quilting Goals for this week.

My mojo is back! Last weekend I sewed about a dozen oversized receiving blankets, and some burp clothes. I'll be back tonight to put a pic up!

So what are you working on?
Holly

This week I am only working on a quilt that I made years ago for my daughter. It is one where you sew the blue jeans squares together and the seams are on the outside. Some are loose so will fix that. It is like probably 12-15 yrs. old but she still uses it.

The more I looked at the little quilt I posted last week the less satisfied I was with the wonky gold border on it - so I took off the binding did some restitching - put the binding back on. Here it is "repaired". Still not perfect but at least better.

I finished this quilt yesterday. The pattern is beach house in the book Scrap Basket Surprises. I pieced the top last summer.

This year I plan on working through the 14 very small projects (like potholder size!) in the book pictured to help me play with the features of the machine I bought last year. This project is called Marsh #1. It was fun to do.

Bozie- love the log cabin and I did not find anything wrong with the star one last week. Both look great to me. Iam, nice quilt, always nice to finish UFO projects. This week I started and completed this quilt for my friend who just started chemo therapy. All the material came from my stash, even the backing and batting. The quilt is gold, pink and floral with nice green border. The camera did not do it justice. Looks great in person.Sue

I made another journal cover. My nephew and his wife have a dachshound, and the fabric spoke to me. After I got it home, I realized I had to cut the rows separately and restitch because the fabric had one row of dogs running along right side up, and the next row was upside down. What's with that? When looking at the picture, I realize that I placed two identical rows next to each other, not my intention. Too late now, they were mailed Wednesday, and should have been received today. Ah well...the best laid plans of mice and men...teaches me not to be in such a hurry to finish.

I went to sew the other day but didn't get anything done. I have sinusitis and I felt like I was going to fall over LOL. Dr gave me some meds but so far it isn't doing much good. I hope to get in there soon and get some tops made for QWL.

Great job, everyone!

I finished a few things on Thursday, but can't show a picture as they are being mailed to board members Cool.

After they receive them, I will post pictures.

Marths, the minis are always great. That blue and gold would be a beauty in my living room! I'll be watching for it on AAQI.

Ali, feel better soon! I made homemade turkey and noodles for DH yesterday after his bout with a kidney stone and he gobbled it all up. Hope you have a good care giver.

Sue, good to see you peeking over the quilt for your friend. Isn't the BQ2 pattern great? I have used it a few times and it is my current favorite. It is versatile for large prints or pieced blocks--made a quilt with a panel fabric and modified it to use rectangles instead of squares.

Keep the pictures coming Smile.
