I found this on a blog and I MUST make myself one for my bed during the holidays! I have no idea what it is called. Does anyone recognize it? It looks like log cabins and pinapple blocks and reminds me of Judy Martins style. Any help is appreciated!
I will try and post a pic but just incase that doesn't work here is a link to the blog. It is the second picture down, the Christmas looking one. http://apassionforapplique.blogspot.com/This message has been edited. Last edited by: Brandyquilter,

Eureka Quilt...its very close to the Eureka anyway. I really believe that is one of McCalls, either in the Timeless patterns or darn I can't think of what they call the one's that are so requested and kept forever on their site.
Thank you all! This board is such a valuable resource!
May - I think you have it! Eureka! I remember it catching my eye on the cover of keepsake Quiltings catalog but when I saw it in red and green I swooned. I just ordered it from the Virginia Quilter. I can't wait to start but might have to host neutral, red, and green noodle swaps first, lol!
And how do you google an image? I guess I could google "how to google an image" to find out.

you can put search topic in the box, and the results are images. for example try "balloon quilts"This message has been edited. Last edited by: wildcatmom,
You can actually upload in image for Google to search for. If you do a regular search and then select images as Karen said, an icon to allow uploading an image appears in the search bar. (When I searched for this earlier I used the term log cabin star because I thought that is the generic name of the quilt design.)

Then I clicked on the camera icon and uploaded Brandy's picture that I had copied from her post and saved on my desktop. Google then gave me their best guess as of where to find a similar image.

Needlecrazy, you have it. It's a Jackie Robinson design. (That's in the link I posted but the picture of the quilt is so darn impressive it's easy to miss the text. There are other colorways on her site too including a R/G one that looks more like Brandy's picture.)

I can copy but not paste a picture in the regular search bar. Same with the one on the image page. Unless I use the camera icon I can't paste a url or upload an image. And if I post the url to a pic on the HGTV forum the search it gets just the circle with a line thru it. Guess Google isn't signed in to HGTV.
So.............how do you get just pasting a copied image into the search bar to work?

I right clicked on the picture that BrandyQuilter posted & clicked on "copy". Then I went to Paint & pasted (Control V) it into Paint & then saved it in my pictures. Then I went back over to Google & clicked on the little camera & clicked on the "upload a picture", browsed & found it in my pictures & double clicked on the picture & it brought it over to Google images. I hope this helps.

Martha, Using Firefox...I went to the Link Brandy posted Right click and clicked on View Image Info (this) http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0VJn...gM/s320/IMG_6675.JPG Went to Google Search Images and pasted the info and up popped Eureka as Googles best guess.
I can not do it copying the picture from here tonight but I did it the first day...Weird.But there was an Update overnight on both my computers last night ...I know this because I had to reset some stuff on my work computer today...I even had a new search engine on my work computer today something called Blekko which really ticked me off.It cost me a bit of time to get rid of it..
Anyway try that.

Nicki, I did pretty much the same as you except that instead of copying Brandy's image I chose to save it to my desk top.
May, now I understand how you did that. I didn't think of using the regular search bar to search for more instances of the same image. Thanks for the lesson.
