I have a Quilty Prize Package for the person who correctly matches the most Quilts to their Quilt Makers.

Below is a list of all the Quilt Makers and the Quilts in the Show.
All you have to do is tell me which Quilt Maker made which Quilt. Simple, right?

Now, I don't want to hear "awe, I could never do that", because you may know more than you
think and you just might get lucky.

If you are even thinking about joining next year, this is a great way to have more control of your fabrics. For every correct answer, you will be able to add one pair of 6" squares from your stash to the mix. Those squares could add up fast, what are you waiting for? Start matching that Quilt Maker.

Thinking I may try to do this and have been doing a little "sleuthing"....
I was looking at all the past entries for each year, kinda getting a "profile" for each repeat player, to narrow down my choices. ( I know, putting way too much work into this, I have never gotten many right in past tries at this...) But my thought was as I was looking at past years is how many quilter friends we haven't seen on the boards in a long time. Lots of ladies that were real active at one time and talented too. You just wonder what happens, lose interest in the board, gain new interests, get too busy, get feelings hurt, found a new message board... I don't know, just kinda made me sad. I mean a lot of times I think of people I haven't seen for awhile and wonder of what happened to them. But after looking at all the names of the past challenges theres a lot of names there that I haven't seen in a long time and they were frequent posters and involved in a lot of swaps, etc.
Guess maybe life just gets in the way, miss them and hope they are all ok.

BTW~ if I do get a list together for this, what is the due date?

well, just went a looked at a couple of years and must say, unless you spent A LOT of time really making files of everyone's entries and analyzed them and such,was just more confusing to me so am not going to do that this year and just submitted my "guesses". Truly, I am sure I don't know very many styles and will probably be very easy to beat in this part of the competition so..go for it girls!!! I'll bet LisaTx must have a whole file folder of everyone's style...you little sleuth, you...

Yes I just went with the folks I had met before and took a shot at which ones they MIGHT have made. I'd be happy if I got a FEW right!! confused look!

Ha! I tried the going back through past shows and looking at people's photo albums in past years. The time and work involved was way too intensive. So this year - just hopefully some good guesses.

I've updated the Leader Board and we have a tie for first place.

But, it is early.

hahahaha!! Looks like we have some heavy guessing going on! Nancy, we should bask in the glory for the moment we have it! Hahahaha..3 right! hahahaha! Maybe I will do more investigation by next year...probably not...

It is always fun for me to see how many I can get correct. There are always some that stump me. I need to go back through my old messages to see what my accuracy rate has been over the years .

I sent my guesses in last night & believe me....they were totally GUESSES!

Checked my historical data and the highest percentage that I ever received was in 2008 with 35 correct match-ups out of 40 = 87.50%.

Not bad !
