Might wanna get those thinking caps on...You know, all those things you want to get finished this year???

Me! I've started making new ornaments for my holiday shows already. I usually don't start until October, but I decided to get an earlier start this year. Maybe I'll get everything done that I want to do this year.
I've purchased two Laurel Burch bags and made two grocery totes. I have two ABC quilt tops made. Will ME the grandsons' names on one of the blank corner blocks sometime this week and hope to start on the machine quilting.
I will be placing a RADA order for knives/kitchen utensils with my library's Friends group for the "kids" kitchens.
I think I'm going to buy all the guys a beer making kit. I think they will enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Not even close....I have two gifts done and one, the hand embriodery done, trying to figure out the fabric placement....Thank goodness I still have 4 months till Christmas...

Need some more pressure? It's 132 days until Christmas. You can keep track on the Christmas Countdown clock at http://www.xmasclock.com/ They even do hours/min/sec!
I'm not ready AT ALL. I don't even have any ideas swirling around in my head. I need to get to crackin' if I'm going to make the office gals gifts this year!

Re: Rada Knives------if they don't have the tomato one, get it. A must! I have been in a store that sells Rada knives. Everyone going around telling the other customers that if they don't have one to be sure to get one. Most already had them, loved them and seconded the recomendation about getting them.
I would love to do some gifts, but never start early enough. I do admire those of you than can give from the heart.
I am interested in hearing what gifts are being made.
Has anyone ever made the circle angels? Can use the circle attachment if you have one and the fancy stitches on the sewing machine? Guild is doing a lecture/demo on them next week. Can also be made without the circle attachment. Think they are made on organdy.
Those circle angels sound very nice. Might be a good Friday nite PJ party project. Strings, Do you think you - or anyone else - might be interested to do the project.

I need to do three quilts for presents: one is started, another has fabric in a box and a pattern picked, and the third has the pattern picked and an idea for what fabric to pull.
I need to finish the COF challenge, my D*** Jane, and a few charity projects first.
DH and I don't give gifts any more. The three this year are special exceptions. Last Chris*tmas Day, I worked on my RMH challenge, cooked a small dinner, and we watched the Thin Man movie marathon. Never got out of my nightgown!

Well, not finished, but I've started. I have one quilt top pieced, just need to quilt it. I've got a box in the spare bedroom with gifts I've gotten already - a couple, not too many yet. But no moss will grow under me. I will get serious about it in September and be finished well ahead of time.
I swear, as I've gotten older I cannot stand going out the closer it gets to the holidays. And you couln't pay me to go to the mall after Thanksgiving. Not going to happen. Me and Amazon - we are buddies.
Ok, what can I do to get in the mood to start presents? Just start,I guess. I've kind of lost it since I can't put up a tree (my favorite part) any more (my cats eat both artificial and real trees). I did make some funny little fabric trees last year for the mantle that they didn't even touch...so I could make more of them...
oh oh oh...a THIN MAN MARATHON!!!!! ok, that will rev me up for anything. Love it...haubbs gave a set a few years ago. Must go dig it out. Thank you so much needlecrazy!!!!!!!

Amazon, the only way DH shops for me. He hates shopping in stores, if he can't order it I don't get it. Except the time I got the sewing machine, sewing table, and office chairs for the sewing room, Those he went to LQS to buy.
