When they have things on sale, I wish they would have signs up on everything on sale. I needed 5 cream colored fabrics for a block I'm making. None of the fabrics I liked were under 7.99 even though they were on sale 40% off. Then I saw a bundle of 5 creams, no sign saying they are on sale so YIPEE!! I can use a 50% off coupon and they will be less expensive. But when I get up to check out come to find out I would have been better off choosing my own fabrics because they were 40% off but the bundles were on sale (no sign showing that) at 30% off. GRRR!!! Of course you don't find that out till you get the receipt and see the star next to the original price. Of course that doesn't tell you how much % it is on saloe for. I even asked the clerk to come and show me where it says they are on sale but there wasn't any sign. I'm going to talk to Shirley, the manager and a longarmer, next time I see her. This message has been edited. Last edited by: indycatCarol,
Yeah...in my store I noticed that the sign about the bundles was posted with the FQs (both were on sale), but not near where the bundles were displayed! Didn't make a whole lot of sense.
That is so frustrating. Our local store has one of those price scanners to check prices. Even with the sale signs in place fabrics/items get put in the wrong spot.
The clerks usually have a pocket scanner on them also. Good luck with the sale items.

I did ask her to show me the sign but there wasn't one there. Didn't offer to let me use the 50% off coupon I'd planned on using. Again, why I'm going to talk to the manager.
I hear so many "gripes" about JoAnns that Im not interested in driving the few miles it would take me to get there. We have a good Wal Mart fabric dept and an even better Hobby Lobby here.
