Today I received a special birthday gift from City/Sandie's grandson and one of his friends. They made me a Fall pillow with some of City/Sandie's scraps. They fused the pieces on and then sewed it together. It is stuffed to the fullest. When I called to thank them, they said they had a great time making it Smile Looks like City/Sandie's grandson is following in her footsteps! Great job guys.

The smallest Cross in the corner is the one you put in the room.

I hope all our daily ups and downs are with needle and thread.

Those are some nice looking pillows. I like the abstract of the one on the right.

WOW!!!! Those must have come from Anthony & Ben. Those boys are awesome when it comes to making pillows. They did a fantastic job on your birthday pillows.

... You all are so nice, thank you
..... just so the truth is known, that is one pillow ... they each grabbed a piece of fabric - Ben snagged that bright one right off, and they each did a side ... they were standing side by side at the ironing board and came up with 2 very distinctively different works of art. They each sewed half the seams, Ben did the handwork to close it after they team stuffed .. and his little stitches look like a pro! Ben wants to learn FMQ but I told him he has to know how to use the machines and be able to make straight seams first. They sewed on Priscilla for the pieced patches and then on my Kenmore (always at the ready)for the seams. I'm pretty sure next Saturday will be an FMQ day Smile Ben has 2 little sisters ... wonder when mom is going to send them over Smile

The boys did a great job on their pillow panels, each one artistic & unique. Sandie is a special Gma to encourage & support their involvement in sewing. Way to go Sandie! Way to go Anthony & Ben!

That is great, both the workmanship, and the thoughtfulness.

sewnsew ... they are both in 5th grade, and 10 - in fact Anthony was 10 end of September.
well that was goofy, forgot I had added this picture - that' Ben on the left and Anthony front right working on their own pillows on Sat.

Fleur55 is a very special lady, always the first to think of others, and do for them, so getting to surprise her with this gift from boys was really fun.
