Lumpy Tush - Many prayers. From experience I can tell you that you will feel in limbo for quite awhile, but "this too shall pass."

Great project ladies! I don't h ave to make a dust bunny quilt...I have plenty of the real things. )

I'm seeing pink elephants and I haven't even had a drink!!!!

Love all the projects this week. Made a "sports" top for QWL along with the backing, binding and pillowcase. Pictures probably next week after we go to a quilt show. Working on doll quilts now for a bit. Bought some defedtive doll quilt panels YEARS ago and now I have a reason to do something with them... Chris

LT so sorry on the loss of your DH.

Hope the sewing room move goes well and quickly! Can understand your feelings.

As I look around my master bed room I would (just saying) have room for a long arm and mostly the rest of my sewing and quilting items. A lot of my books are here already... Chris

LT- I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss! Sending up lots of T & P's for you & your family!

I'm not doing any active sewing or cutting this week-end. I'm in the process of creating a space in my bedroom so I can sew & watch/listen to Quiltcam. I usually sew down in the family room which has no internet access. Don't think I'll have things finished today, but I may be close.

Happy Stitching All!

So sorry Lumpy Tush to hear of your DH's passing.

I pieced the border and finished my mini for February. I received March in the mail yesterday. I've already traced that one and cut the pieces for the border.

Everyone's project look great!

Oops! Sorry it's so big!

Keep calm and carry on

Patty, love you hanging! Is it hand embroidery? It's such a cute design and so perfect for Valentines.

I was hunting for some fabric for a baby quilt and came across a charm pack. Didn't have enough for a baby quilt but had enough to make this tote bag. Love the sweet fabric and the pattern was very easy to follow. I'd made one very similar with crocheted granny squares and love the design because it gives a big, roomy interior for my yarn and project.
Here's the free pattern:

Went to the gym (UGH!) then came home to clean up my mess. But the charms called to me to make another tote. This time I added a seam and an opening in the bottom of the lining to turn the bag. SO much easier and faster!

Yes Evelyn it's hand embroidery, the bird is an applique. It's a block of the month project from Shabby Fabrics.
