Hiya ladies, does anyone make or have a pattern for a walker bag or tote. I have an elderly aunt who is in a nursing home back in Kentucky and would love to make her one or even buy one for Christmas, as time is running short, and bags and totes aren't my area of familarity. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used an 3x denium skirt to make 1 it is very sturdy and had pockets and only cost me .99. I used a pattern but worked around the pockets etc. I added some butterflies applquies and put on her name. Do you have rummage sales there? REsale shops etc.?

I made my sister a walker tote/bag last year. It was easy. I did decide to line it and add some pockets to the inside, the pattern shows pockets on the outside. I used some heavier twill fabric.

I used this pattern: http://www.laurassewingstudio.com/Sewing/Walker_Bag/walker_bag.html

When my DH broke his leg a few years ago, I made him one from an old pair of bluejeans. I cut the legs off the jeans, sewed the bottom together and used some of the leg fabric to make straps to attach it to the walker.
