Oh My!!!! Trish, he's beautiful!!! Can't wait to see him. My mail has been on hold as I was away for 10 days. All will be delivered this afternoon and I'll let you know when I open the package.

Sorry but he won't be used as a mug rug - going to hang him right here by my computer.

My mug rug to RockinBobbin was finally mailed yesterday....I am soooo sorry and I apologize to Mandylifeboats and RockinBobbin....BECAUSE.... As I was getting it ready to mail on the 2nd all of the sudden it jumped up and bit me...ya know?....2 pieces of the sky fabric were wrong side facing!!!! I spent a whole day telling myself it would be okay....NOT... then I began to tear it out...but that wasn't working ...so I remade the whole thing....Because I was nervous and worried being late again...I kept making stoopid mistakes more ripping and resewing... in the middle of it all had to clean and oil Zorene and then I couldn't get the thing to sew...wheel wouldn't turn...what the??? looked and fiddled and studdied....okay get out the manual....OH take off stitch plate and make sure the little thingy whatsis is aligned right...15 tries later....the bobbin holder...
So I again apologize to RB and thank you for your patience...Tonya I apologize as well for my less than work in a couple of places it has been a while since I have sewed anything and with my new to me Featherweight it was fun but challenging...no 1/4 inch foot yet!.... and to our wonderful Swap hostess Mandylifeboats I hope you can forgive me.... am working furiously on City/Sandies Summer fun! I will not be late...I will not be late...

luvthosequilts, Take a nice deep breath and let it out slowly. You know the old saying :"the hurryier I go the behinder I get"? think that applies here. Hope your day today is better. I'm not in this swap, but I do like looking at what is being created. Thanks to all for sharing the pictures. Pat

dear dear dear luvthosequilts - I am not in a dither and there is no need for you to be .. this is about summer FUN not summer stress ... lighten up on yourself and have more fun .. Smile
I know what you mean about the thingy mawhatsit ... mine had a tiny piece of thread in it and according to 'the book', Featherweights were so well made that there wasn't any room to allow things/junk (sic) to just hang out in there. I picked for at least an hour before i got that piece out and it was less than a 1/4 piece of old thread.

I cannot change 'things', but I can change how I feel about them. Me.
