I'm getting in before any pictures are shown, just to say to Holly how much I appreciate these weekly threads. They have given me so much inspiration. I don't post often, and when I do I'm afraid of leaving people out, but I so much admire everyone's work. TFS, everyone.
Thank you, Holly!!

Ditto to what Kay-lin said!
I'm excited to post that I have a FINISHED quilt... my first in over 3 years. More pictures and background info on my blog if you are interested. I'm calling it Blended Stars.

asimplelife - I love that quilt. Selecting fabrics that are plesant on the eyes has always been a problem for me. This quilt is so eye pleasing.
Erma - Your little redwork for your Techies is really cute. They will love it.
wannaquilt - You did a great job on those scrubs. I don't have a need for scrubs but someday I would like to make a top just to wear on the week-ends. They always look so comfortable.

Great work girls. I have been getting rid of FQ's I won't use, they were given to me, and small pieces of leftover fabric that isn't big enough to use on much. I have been sewing strips into blocks and cutting them on the diagonal to make tops for QWL. They will definitely be scrappy LOL. I have to catch up on my BOM blocks soon as i get this set of fabric strips done.
Love this thread. I will come back sunday night or Monday morning to catch more photos.
Everyones projects are just wonderful.
I too finished my scraps to treasure quilt. I finished quilting a string quilt that my mother pieced for my sister last year for her C h r i s t m a s present.
I also quilted a quilt for a friend. Now I need to sit this weekend and bind them. If I do two a week till the end of the year, I might be able to catch up.
Love all the pics and TFS. I just got my Wisconsin quilt back from my quilter in MN. Will post a pic after I put the binding on. I might get to it the weekend. LOL Sue

Thanks so much everyone for the compliments! I remember how I agonized over picking the fabrics to match the border floral which I love as much today as the day I found it. This was one of my first projects where I didn't mimic the pattern fabrics exactly.
My DD is going to be a nurse... guess I'd better start a "scrub stash"! And, I'm seeing so much pretty redwork around the web lately that I want to start that too.
Holly, I just want to tell you how much I always enjoy this post each week tho I don't always say it. I love seeing what everyone accomplishes! Much talent and variety every week. Thanks to Holly and all that post! Rondi
You gals are so ambitious! I finally got some sewing done for a change. The T shirt quilt top is ready now. I'll post pics next week of DH quilting it. It's for friends in Maui, made from their dive shop commemorative T shirts. I figure I have 25 hours into it already - not counting the thinking & planning. No profit margin here.
Hi Ladies, this is the first quilted piece I ever did. It was a kit I bought in Hershey last year. I just love it.

This is a disappearing nine patch quilt I made for my niece's wedding gift. I like black and white and her fav color is green. It was also my first queen size endeavor. Duh what was I thinking!

I took a Eleanor burns Night & Day class three years ago and never finished it. One of our guilds had a UFO challenge and that is the only reason it is done. I already warned you that it is bright. But, the picture doesn't show it true colors.

Everything looks great. Congrats on all who finished the scraps to quilt challenge. They are fun but a lot of work goes into them.
Iluv2quilttoo, I love your black, white and green quilt.

I'm still working on ufo's. I started this little "Through a Winter Window" wall hanging (pattern by Pearl Louise Krush) either last winter or the winter before. Finally got it to this stage, ready to sandwich. Of course I noticed a problem after I had already cut the window panes. I think I started with a bigger background piece than called for with the intentions of cutting it down, then forgot. That's what I get for waiting so long to return to it. But I think it will work. (That light part in the lower right corner was sunlight.)This message has been edited. Last edited by: elsie123,

I love to see what everyone's doing! Love the Row Robins, quilts etc. And the girly scarf.
I like to see the color combo's others pick. Like the B&W with that particular shade of green-so pretty and soothing. Asimplelife-love the colors in your quilt.
Finally got back home from DHs second family reunion in as many weeks...sure wish the southern faction would unite with the northern faction and get this down to just one reunion...just spitting in the wind...
I finished quilt 1 of 3 for the grands' Christmas presents.
Finished sewing the binding on my Wisconsin quilt. This quilt was made with fabric from Wisconsin for the Wisconsin Shop Hop in June 2012. The lighthouse in this quilt is from my home town. It was built in 1880. I will shw 2 pics- one of the quilt and the other of the quilting. You will see quilted lighthouses. I just love the quilting. Sue

Ladies - I don't know which one is my favorite. All of your projects are beautiful!
I'm working on a kit quilt called 'Stars Over Fort Sumter'. I bought it at a quilt shop in Charleston, SC last Nov and hopefully I'll be finished with it this Nov.
