What do you want to have when you get the mall made? Quilt or wall hanging or vest or bag or lampshades?? Smile

Last year I used some pretty girlie shabby chic fabric to make the yo yos and sewed them together by linking them with a pearl between each one. The garland now hangs in a little girls bedroom over her window curtains... really cute.

Not sure what you want your final project to look like, but really long strips of yo yos may get difficult to handle. If you do them in blocks instead, it may be easier to work with.

Have fun!

my gf uses a tacking stitch /\/\/\/\ really close on her machine to sew them together. it really is sturdy and it is very cute looking.

Since you are making a quilt, how about tacking in four places to a background square( just alittle larger than the yo-yo), then join the squares.
