I was gifted three books yesterday. Here are the names just in case someone is interested in purchasing some for themselves.

Color in Quilts by Gai Perry
Stars Galore by Alex Anderson
Traditional Quilts Gift Wrap

I never knew you could get quilting gift wrap...especially like this. My mother thought she was buying me some quilt books at a yard sale but when she took a closer look, they were all wrapping paper with gift tags included in a book form.

If you didn't know how old you were, would you worry about how old you are?

Here is another one that Dover Publications sells.

Grandmother's Flower Garden flat gift wrap

They have a lot of beautiful wraps but this is the only quilty one I see at the moment. I love Dover stuff, especially the books of stencils, stained glass, and the hand embroidery transfers. Old-time and out of print stuff. If you buy one of their quilt books you usually have to translate the cutting directions into rotary cutter language. They are from the age of scissors.

I have Gai Perry's book about color. Someday when I have time, I will try out the exercises.

I never knew these exsisted until yesterday. I live such a sheltered life...LOL. These books contain the paper and labels. I think the quilt info may have been torn out because there are some pages missing in them.

I'm crazy for Dover. They have a large section of printables (CD's)now....could be used to print on fabric and make your own designed fabric.

I saw one of these at a church sale and put it back because it wasn't a quilt book or patterns. Thought maybe it was for scrapbooking, which I don't do. I also lead s shetered life!!!! Now that I know what it was for, I should have bought it. ... Chris
