I made 3 raggy baby quilts...need to take pics. Two were from pre-quilted fabric that I made window covers for my son's college apt. He brought them back, so I cut them into squares. The other (I did buy some flannel for) but used stash. They don't know what the baby is and I realized I had too much floral/girlie fabric.
Need to take pics and share.
I also made 4 cozy's for stemware for a wedding gift. Her colors are peacocks feather colors. I had fabric with perfect gem colors. Made each different, so it will be like those glass charms.
I purchased a finished quilt top at the thrift store and made a 50x50 backing.
Oh, I also made a strip/string quilt for a donation to a burn victim in Oregon. Still need to piece the back. I don't have a pic of this one either.
Happy Thurs. everyone. I am happy to be off work today (altho worked OT Mon thru Wed); need to head downstairs and sew.

● ● ● I finally busted some stash. It hasn't been there very long, but the really cool part is I didn't pay for it. Big Grin Dan picked it out and gave it to me for my birthday. Does he know me or what?

It's just a simple mugrug and matching candy bowl.

I have been moving my craft room from one room to another and trying to organize it. So far I have found 60 UFO's. 60!! I am so overwhelmed with how many there are I couldn't figure out where to start. I finally decided to number them all then put the numbers in a basket and draw to decide what to work on. The first number I picked was for a purse I promised my Mom over the summer. It is now finished and I will mail it to her on Monday. Here is the front -

And here is the back. We were at The Button Emporium during the summer and the owner of the store gave the center piece to my Mom.

I have drawn another number and now I am working on a hexagon quilt I started many, many years ago. This one will take awhile.

Love all the projects! Too bad what little sewing I did in December I can't show! Lori, you know I completed my row for the row robin, even if I can't post a pic, so does that count? LOL!

I did complete this nightshirt for my sister who has been widowed twice and complains she needs a companion. Now she can sleep with a hunk whenever she wants!

I've also been playing with Barbie. Fixing up some clothes from a garage sale for a charity. Repaired all the fancy ones first. Had to dive into my crazy quilting supplies to make two tops and find matching lace edged ribbon and organza ribbon to replace missing/ripped straps on the bottom dresses.

Pretty fabric Sue B. McPatches, I enjoyed making Barbie and American Girl doll clothes, but those Barbie ones are really tight on set in sleeves. LOL ooops, Sue went home and I forgot to sign her out and me in. Sister Sue wouldn't ever be making doll clothes. She likes quilts and quilting. Pat

These are the last things I made. As long as I was making another of the preprinted panels, I went ahead and did another since I had the binding. Just one panel left and now that I got the binding, I will make it one of these days.

At any rate, one of those along with the two receiving blankets (one green & one Curious George print) went to someone on one of Yahoo groups I am on. The same one with the Angel Cards... Chris

Forgot, a throw for the mom too.

What is happening with the pictures? These are the same size I have always posted, but now they are huge?

I can vouch for McPatches! It looks like she used a lot of stash for her row. My row is from stash and it should be finished soon.

I also made some doll clothes. I made one set as practice out of Christmas flannel then used a piece of flannel from a friend's gma had to make doll clothes for her granddaughter.

I finished the potholder I used as a demo in Branson for my pp piecing class which I sent to my mom.

No pictures tho. Bad me.

Just taking time to look at all the wonderful projects. Even with such a busy month, so much productivity.

I got a few blocks for the 2013 SunShine Quilters group done. Hope to spend time the rest of this week getting the first several months done.

This quilt I made for my "colorful" daughter Melissa ... y'all met her and her crazy colored hair at retreat ...

This quilt is called "the colors of my daughters hair" ... cause she's had every single color of this quilt in her hair at one time or another Smile This is from my batik stash Big Grin

I did the large meander quilting on Kona black with variegated lime green, cause those are her too favorite colors Smile

This one I made for my Precious ... I made it completely from stash, including the backing Smile The focus fabric I had originally bought to make a purse out of, but sure like this more, and I might have enough left over to do one Smile

I did the quilting in variegated purple, and it's hearts and vines Smile I wanted to show the LOVE in this quilt Smile She was amazed that I made her a quilt, and I surprised the heck out of her Big Grin

The pattern is called "O Henry", and was very easy and fast.

Now... if you notice the new avatar, it is my new quilt labels ... Y'all showered me with SO MUCH ORANGE that I had to start incorporating it into other things ... so this will be my "trademark" on my quilts Smile

I really enjoyed doing these 3 quilts ... in a MONTH! Eek and I LOVED learning to do the quilting on a longarm ... and I want to do MORE of that!

There is a pattern for the calendar hangers. The quilt block is a 12 1/2 in. block. I make different blocks just for the fun of it. I wish I had taken a picture of the ones I made gifts. But I guess I wasn't thinking at the time. I asked them to tell my 3 colors they use in their kitchens and went from there. You could do seasonal or holiday anything you would like to do.
It's called Sew Biz "As Time Goes By" Calendar Cozy. finished size is 13 1/4"W x 25"H Thank you for the nice comments!
