Very nice. I'm interested in knowing how you quilted it. Did you stitch in the ditch? Whatever you might have done in the border isn't visible.
I'm interested because I'm presently working on three runners. I'm stippling them. On the first runner, I treated the border separately. On the second runner today, I stippled in rows (as seen on one of Leah Day's videos) and extended those rows out into the border. I have one quadrant left to do, but I like it better than my first runner.
The thing that frustrates me the most is when I run out of bobbin thread and have to put in a new one. I don't like dealing with that beginning tail. The second frustration is removing the safety pins as I machine quilt. I'm going to look into those Pinmoors that Leah uses in her videos--they are so much easier to deal with.
I don't have a clue as to what Red ??Clover?? binder clips are so I'm going to do a google search. Maybe I should get some of those before I start on my bindings.
Oh, that turned out sooooo pretty. I love the colors. The kit had pretty drab colors (teal & brown) & wasn't near as pretty made up as yours. Thanks for letting us see your beautiful results.

When you run out of thread, leave a long tail on both starting and ending. Then pull the 2 threads together (so there are 4) and tie them in a tiny knot. Then take a needle and thread each side seperately and take a small stitch about 1/4" away, pull through and clip off. Repeat. Hardly shows and is stable.
