OK, it's time to stop fiddlin' with the pattern and put some fabric together. Still don't know which pattern it will be. Thankfully they both use the same kind of fabrics. Aren't you lucky, Bunny? lolllll

I think it should be a requirement that you all post a pic of your wonderful creations. Just kidding about it being a requirement. I am anxiously awaiting pics.

I so enjoy looking at the talent and creativity your all have. I also think it is interesting how each one interprets the subject. You are all artists.

Well this is quite some swap for me. When I first read the post I thought oh I have one done...easy peasy I'll do this swap. Then....I read the swap properly and discovered it was an autumn or halloween swap. Well colors aren't right so I need to make one. Then I read the post again and discoved it was to be mailed by the end of Sept. WOW!!! I'd best get my act together and getrdone!!! Today I worked and finished the rug all but the quilting. NOW...I read the correct post and find it doesn't have to be mailed before Nov. 3. You can tell where my mind is at these days!?*&@! Oh well, I am now way ahead of the game and will get it quilted next week. Sure hope it isn't late going out.!!!!lol

So I am on to working on this mug rug...it has been quite rainy here so one part has been on hold until I can get outside for the parts...
Hint....

I said this swap might get me motivated to sew again. Well, I think it did. Here are a couple extras I made.

The top one has the Flower of Friendship block. I've been dying to try that block and this seemed like a good place to use it.

The jack-o-lantern is mandy's inspiration. She pointed me towards Pinterest and I loved what she showed me.

.... See that pair of mugrugs pictured above made by Paus? Well guess who got that one with the friendship flower in it ... Yes... ME .. and I stood here and cried .. today has been kind of a hard day - thinking of my daughter and missing her so much . and along comes this beautiful gift from a beautiful person .. totally made my day.
Thank You Pauline.
**************** I got a pic with my mug from my friends in Leavenworth Ks, I stayed 3 days with them after Branson, hadn't seen them in 25 years (we were stationed there 2x together and 1x at Ft lewis) they thought I needed a souvenier .. Smile
....PS it's prettier than you can see because she did a FMQ flower and the backing and binding have lots of glittery gold.

Those are soooo cute!!!! I'm afraid I may not have got the right idea when I did mine. I did send it off today so I hope you like it when you get it City Sandy. While I was at the post box I also picked up my mugrug....LOVE IT!!! It is soooo cute with Autumn Blessings. Not sure if I can get a picture small enough to post or not. My son usually does that job for me. I'll try tomorrow to do that. Oh do you have a picture you can post Sandy?? In the mean time Thank you Sandy...it is adorable.

Catwmn, are your spiders fused or embroidered? I love that mug rug. Sometimes we just need a little thing to nudge us along. I had fun and enjoyed doing mine and I do think they helped me.

Sandie: Your rug is soooo appropriate. Very nice.

How lucky you are, Sewnso. I'm sure yours will be just as loved.

Hi Paus: They are 3 circles of felt that I just zig zagged into place. I then drew legs and zig zagged them as well. It was a lot of fun. Even made one for myself.
