Have had a hectic last few days. I received Paus4quilts mug rug and it's so cute! I love the fabric you used. I'll show a picture of both sides.

This is a picture of the other side. I love the cats and pumpkins. Your mug rug is in the mail, so you should be getting it in a day or 2. This was a fun swap and it's made me want to do this again.

SueB - love the colors in yours and especially like the leaf-shaped quilting. Nice choice.

.... SEWNSO - IT'S HERE ... oH MY GOSH, it so pretty .. I had to turn it and turn it to decide which side is 'right' side .. I don't want to soil either one! And your leaf quilting is really nice ... and that pretty card is so sweet ... and clever you - did you bribe the Post Office to get it here on my BD? BTW .. Bright orange is my fav color - and you nailed it!

Oh Sandy you give me too much credit. The quilting was very random and the machine did the stitching and I picked a really easy leaf to use as the quilting. Happy that you liked it though....I just loved that fabric when I bought it and so I bought lots. Thought it would be the perfect fabric for an autumn theme.

Finally, Bunny has answered the question of which side of the mug rug to use. Both of them!!!!

Bunny, love your mug rug. It is soooo pretty and actually, just my style.

She appliqued pumpkins on one side and leaves on the other. They are zigzaged on and echo quilted and then she embroidered the veins and ribs on each to give them standout character. It is sooooo pretty, truly.

Thank you, Bunny. You done really, really good.

Mandy I love that mugrug you have shown in that pic, can't wait to see it in person. Looks like you did a super fine job on it. Very pretty.

I drove 45 mins to the PO on Saturday & they were closed. My SIL told me Saturday night that they were announcing it on the radio all day. I will be getting my mail posted tomorrow morning. Hope it arrives before the deadline & sure hope Mandy likes it. Wish I could do fancy quilting like some of you.

Some very lovely mug rugs have been made & shown on this thread.

sorry about the mug rug this time. I had made three and the one STinMT got was the best of the three and I was disapointed in it. So I have decided to sit out for a while of the mug rug swaps. You girls do such great work. and I need to practice some more to get to your level.

.... Applebetty that is a terrible reason to 'sit out'. Mugrugs are not works of art nor are they meant for heirlooms! If you just don't want to do them, that's one thing, but to feel you have to meet some kind of quilt police standard is just pitiful. I will swap with you ... you make me one and I will make you one .. what colors do you like? I''m dead serious, people who know me know that I am.
I do NOT want something I cannot use - I USE these things .. did you see the one I stained with coffee? Well my machine didn't get wet ..
these are basically rectangular pot holders and meant for utility purposes.
So .. what colors do you like, what seasons do you like, or maybe I should ask what you DONT like Smile PM me your address so I can PM you mine. <<<>>>>
