Are your ready for our third annual Sewing Super Bowl game to be held on Sunday, February 3rd between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks? The winning prize will be a $25 Joann gift card!

The winner of the game is the one who picks the winning team AND the closest winning score WITHOUT going over. In case of a tie, I will put the names in a hat and have Mom pull out the winner.

If you want to play, email me your winning team and the score, such as "DB 32-0". Please do NOT post your selection on the boards, nor PM me. The only way to can play is to email me at 2013hexagonswap@gmail.com

I will confirm back to you via return email that your prediction has been received.

You only get one vote and CANNOT make a change once you email me your vote, so you will probably want to wait until closer to the date to make your prediction. I will post the official game post on Sunday and tally your selections.

All predictions must be sent to me NO later than Sunday, 2/2 at 12:00 PM (noon) EST. This will give me time to compile the list and I will be posting the scores as the game progresses.

Any questions? Just ask! Now, do your research and good luck!

Here are our players:

At a football game in highschool, I made a tremendously embarrassing remark that had 2 rows of people turn and look at me...

"What inning is this?" I said.

I have been waiting for this! Got my pick ready and am mailing you my score.

I'm with you Gonesewin! Go Steelers! (ButI think that will not be anytime soon.) I have an 89 year old uncle back in PA who is a big Steelers fan and I am hoping he lives long enough to see them win another SB)

Less than a week to vote! I picked up the $25 Joann gift card yesterday and can't wait to see who the lucky winner is.

So, email me your prediction to 2013hexagonswap@gmail.com

Right now, I have 16 players. Most wait until the deadline to email me.

Do you have any sewing plans that day? Join us--bring snacks--check in and see how you are fairing in the contest. Comment about the halftime show and the commercials. See you then!

P.S. For those of you who haven't emailed me your predictions, remember the deadline (EST!) posted at the top of this topic--you can't win if you don't play! Smile

Thanks, KC for hosting this--I had never played before, but with "MY" team in the running, I couldn't resist--no one in a million yrs would have thought the Broncos would only get 8 pts !!
But then Denver only has P Manning and Seattle has a whole team!!
Sorry--couldn't resist !!

Congrats Quilter Jen!

That game made me throw up! I felt so sorry for Manning! But happy for Seattle. I knew we were in trouble from the get go when they had a 2 point Safety! Just wasn't Manning's day.
