I have tons of minkee/minky scraps which I'd like to sew together to make 'new' fabric. So have you stitched minkee/minky together? What did you do about the bulky seams? thanks

I've sewn Minkee together and I guess I just didn't pay any attention to the seams. Looked upon them just as when I've sewn sweatshirt material together. Bulky.

Sorry that's no help, is it?

use lots of pins or stabilize it. I think it would make a great piece!

On another list it was suggested that I do flip and sew to super thin batting. I'm going to give that a try.

Thanks for your help.

When you flip it, use the school glue sticks to hold it down..may make it more manageable too.
i used them all the time with cotton on the string blocks.
