I made those way back in 2003 ... they're easy, quick and tons of fun. Just a few I've made.

Thanks. I keep them around until after Thanksgiving. I like to bunch them all up after Halloween and put them on my fireplace hearth.

My leaves are fleece on some and also homespun fabrics for others. I made the curlie-q's with fuzzy pipe cleaners. Stems are sticks from my yard.

Thanks much, kimberliiw,

We had a 9-9 quilt retreat at our church today and thanks to you, I gave a demo. I cut out 8 and had them in various stages to pass around and had one finished. DH cut 2 1/2 inch long pieces from a 3/4 in dowel, I painted them brown for the stem, I used florist wire for the tendrils and silk leaves from a fall garland (not botanically correct, but were color coordinated-thats what matters in decorating). I typed up instructions for all.

I also can see making some for our church Apple Fest next October, and they may also spawn some in red and be disguised as apples on the tables for eating.

Also when I was at the Quilt in a Day site yesterday I found the pattern there too.

Thanks again for the great idea.
take care, Karen T

Those are too cute. Would make a cute little gift to give to my quilting friends. Thank-you for the link.
I do love the quilt with the dogs on it. How creative!! Eek My oldest DD has been wanting me to make a dog quilt for her for a long time and I just couldn't come up with a cute way to make it. NOW I have inspiration!! Big Grin It will probably take me several years to make, but I know she would LOVE IT! Wink
Now to start collecting dog prints.....any one having a swap?? Razz

Wish I had seen that before Halloween. I hope that I can find this tomorrow when I get home, so that I can bookmark it for next year.
