You will all probably get a laugh out of this, but last night I went thru all the strings from the last swap and pulled out what I could for the string block exchange I am now in. That was the first I had gone thru them other than to open the box when it arrived... Chris

Bright bricks fabrics are just waiting for me to cut them. I always prewash fabrics as they come in the house, so all I had to do was choose them. They are sitting on the table waiting to be ironed- hopefully over the weekend so they'll quit glaring at me. I sorted the last bright brick swap fabrics by color so I can be sure I don't duplicate any. Not sure I have any good ship in a bottle fabric, but I'll look.

Well "duh" did not even think about you and 30's when I wrote that. Never liked 30's but they are growing on me.

I have to admit they are growing on me as well...I have a large bin of quite an assortment I've been gathering....at one point I probably had a project in mind and then "forgot"!! Forgot is my middle name now.

I have more brights in the machine as I type this. I had a stack set aside and I can't find where I put them and had to pull more, sheesh!! I have got to get more organized down there.

Apparently your fabrics are playing "hide and go seek" with you, Linda! Perhaps I could come over and find them for you?

Washed, ironed and cut mostly batiks yeaterday. Cut one set of strings this morning while waiting fo DH to get ready fo work. Batiks are done and think I just have two more of the stashbuster strings and squares to finish. Great hopes of geting this mailed by Saturday, at the latest, as we have company starting Sunday and I need to get the house cleaned up!!!! Chris

Finally got the package mailed today. Should be there Monday according to the receipt. Priority was only 5 cents more than their new way which used to be called parcel post, so it went that way... Chris

Mine was mailed priority this morning, and that quickly I've lost receipt with the confirmation #, have no idea how I do that. I didn't get Sunshine blocks done yet but didn't want to hold package til tomorrow. Thanks for the swap, looking forward to more brights (I say while snow is flying around, again!!)

My squishie arrived Wednesday, even the 7 and 9 yr old dgs know a squishie anyway, thanks ladies for the great variety. Who knew there were so many batiks!!

I am amazed at the variety - sewed the first 20 to the B&W squares for Miss Maggie's BD sewing weekend.
