i am so bummed! i have been taking apart a quilt for a couple days..all 2.5" squares, all 30's repo's.
i wasnt happy with the way the project was going, and i knew i would never finish it if i left it. And the variety of fabrics was just to precious to leave in a pile somewhere!
i have a mini iron, i could get out i guess.
Guess i will be buying a new iron tomorrow.

Kim, sorry about your iron, But your plan looks lovely. Looks like you were pretty far along on the project, but you were right to stop and unsew if you didn't like the way it looked. Good Luck to you. Pat

How frustrating!! Hope you can get a replacement soon. I recognize several of the fabrics - really like the plan for them.

Bummer...gotta' say I love repro's so much I wouldn't mind un-sewing them. I buy my irons at Walmart or Goodwill (smiling) they seem to last longer.
