From when we started this at the first retreat in Minnesota and many of us were cutting out our blocks (pieces) there..I have finally regained some steam and completed the top today! I have the backing fabric and a saved piece of the original fabric. Here tis: oh of course, ACE had to go on there with his squeaky toy. Same as a cat would.

OO I found the cutting out picture and I'm using the 60 deg. triangle to fussy cut the piece I guess. I'm sure I have more of Maxine R.'s pictures too.

Oh that is pretty, like your original fabric. Doesn't it feel good to finish something that has been on the back burner for so long???

Yes, but it grew bigger than I thought it would be. Oh well. That's a lot of small pieces.

That turned out beautifully, Cheryl. Congratulations on getting that done.

That turned out really pretty - congratulations. I did see my bag of pieces the other day when looking for something else. Maybe if I take it out and work on it in little chunks of time I can finish before it disintegrates Smile

Smile Merci beaucoup. If you take it a step at a time and not want to rush it, it's enjoyable. I'll post a link to a man's OBW's that he sells I guess and he just can't get enough of 'em. Hang on a minute while I go get it,
here it is ...http://www.bruceseeds.com I hope that comes out for you..I copied and pasted it and it didn't have all the right information. They're worth checking out.

I am pinning it now and I work 20 mins. on it and stop. It's so tedious. The thing is much bigger than I expected and I didn't use all the cut blocks. But Nicki, I DO love that iron! Wink
