I haven't posted much here in the last 2+yrs due to illness. But I'm coming back (I hope).

I made this easy/simply baby quilt and pocket book pillow for a friend of my DD#1. I also made flannel blankets and display frame but forgot to take photos (shoot).

The quilt is a freebie from http://www.michaelmillerfabrics.com

The pocket book pillow is a freebie from
http://thequiltedfish.typepad....f-pinwheels-too.html

The quilt photo was take before I had stitched down the binding. I used minkee from Joann's on the back so I stitch binding down on the front when minkee is the backing.

Very sweet and girly!

Did you quilt this on your regular sewing machine? I am trying to learn FMQ so I have been trying to notice the quilting and not just the colors and pattern when I see a quilt.

Your quilting looks nice -flowing and relaxed. Do you use any special type of thread for that?

Thanks GeeGee. It's not fun being sick for so long.

I've made lots of the quilts with matching pillow. I'll have to see if I can find some photos.
