When I visit DD, I like going to a quilt shop there. Unfortunately, I'll not be able to shop there later this month when we are there. The owners are retiring and closing the shop. They are selling everything online so have a look at what's left. http://www.dssewingcenters.com/ I think it's all half price.

Oh my, Sue and I would be heart broken if our LQS closed, I feel bad for them, but since they are retiring and it's not the economy I guess that is ok.

The same thing happened here recently. Owner had been trying to sell it for 2 years, and she finally closed the doors. I guess now I need to be grateful for JoAnn's and Hanco.k's AND the internet...


Summers are just this side of hell, but you don't have to shovel sunshine...

DD has lived where she is now for only a couple of years so I've only been in this shop a few times. But I always found several pieces that I liked well enough to take some home. The quality was superb so you don't have to be concerned about getting inferior fabric.
