I cannot for the life of me, figure out how to lock a topic thread. I've asked several times to friends and admin, but no one wants to cough it up... Anyone care to share? Big Grin

I believe it automatically locks after so many posts or views. I can't remember how many.

It use to lock after 1000 but I think they raised it. I did not know we could request it -so guess I'm not much help. LOL

You can lock PM threads that you have started (there is a little box at the bottom of the first post you made on the PM), but you can't lock threads on the main board. Sorry Chicky.

Messages from administration a year ago indication they'd be flexible about the 2000 views so there wouldn't be multiple threads for ongoing topics.

If you are in a message topic that you originated, I thought you could go to "tools" and "close" the topic. I've never tested, just assumed that would lock the thread.
