I finaly had am chance to go to a quilt shop. I had fogoten how much eye candy there was. I have been buying fabric at other fabric stores but it is just not the same. A quilt shop is so beautiful. this one was in Corinth, Ms. the owner and worker was very friendly and helpful. I will go again when I can.

We have 1 in our town and a fabric store and one 25 mins. east and all of the help in those stores are terrific. Glad you had a good experience. My view is: for all the time, energy etc. that goes into quilting, you really should use the best materials YOU can afford. Makes for a good, good quilt in the end.

I agree with Auntie Reba about the difference in shop fabrics, and it's just inspiring to go browsing in a LQS. Ellen "Wishing you sunshine and blessings"

tinbren -- if you are near Corinth, give Warm Buns a shout and have her take you to see the Rag Man over near Booneville. It's a very different place, for sure. There's nothing like a well displayed quilt shop. Just makes you feel good all over! www.floridafarmgirlsworld.blogspot.com Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.
